Improvements Beyond Expectation for Romanian C5-C6 Spinal Cord Injury Patient

Gabi Razvan Iordache’s life changed dramatically when he was only 16 years old. One fine day on a diving trip with his friends back home in Romania, Gabi got into an accident that broke his C5-C6 Spinal Cord vertebrae. The injury left him with quadriplegia, which made him entirely dependent on other people.

Gabi has devoted long years of his life in helping to raise awareness and inform patients of the benefits that the Epidural Stimulation Procedure and Regenerative Treatment can have on Spinal Cord Injuries after experiencing improvements himself. With the financial expense covered as a merit of his fundraising campaign, Gabi’s wish to undergo the Epidural Stimulation procedure, in combination with Regenerative Treatment with Unique Access, came true and he was set to go.

“Miracle has happened here,” Gabi said after a swift recovery from the Epidural Stimulation Surgery from which he suffered absolutely no side effects at all. He embarked on his Treatment Plan after the surgery, which consists of Regenerative Treatment, several sessions of Mapping, and Rehabilitative Programs and, to his own surprise, experienced great improvements despite the challenge in the prolonged nature of his injury. This 39 year-old Romanian man now has control over his ankles in both legs, and is able to perform up to 30 voluntary movements as a result of that. Not only that, Gabi has also gradually regained control over his hips and hip flexion as he performed more movements while standing up in the hoist.

The improvements Gabi experienced here went beyond his own expectations.

“No one has expected it in such a short time,” he added. Appreciative of the medical team and staff who have helped him make this happen, Gabi expressed his gratitude towards them in the interview. He praised the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist for their dedication and the use of various techniques in carrying out the Rehabilitation sessions that have helped him with trunk stability and allowed him to stretch and exercise, all of which are big changes to his life.
